All members of the Allotment Association are also affiliate members of the National Allotment Association. Click here for more information. Please contact Ray Lewis for login details to the members area where you can access members only information including ordering seeds from Kings, etc.
Affiliation to the National Allotment Society also provides Allotmenteers Liability Insurance protection. Click here for more information.
The new committee for 2025
At the Allotment Association AGM held on 14th November 2024, the officers and new committee for 2025 were elected:
Officers:
- Chairman – John Eldridge
- Secretary – Ray Lewis
- Treasurer – Andy Baker
Committee:
Glebe: John Eldridge (Chairman), Ray Lewis (Site Rep), Christine Wilsher (Site Rep), Roger Thurlow, Adrian Clarke, Jenny Morcom
Simons Cross: Andy Baker (Site Rep), Rachael Bennett (Site Rep), Jerry Bird, Kelly Boyce.
Policies for Poultry and Beekeeping.
Note that there are policies for Beekeeping and Poultry which you need to comply with if you want to keep poultry and/or bees on your plot. For beekeepers, there is an application form which must be completed first in order to obtain permission from the Parish Council to keep bees on the allotments.
